Heard of Pet Central before? Yeah, that’s right, it’s at the top of every page. But what is it? It is one of the main pages on Neo. TNT calls it this: Welcome to Pet Central! You can do just about anything Neopet-related from here, and a load of other things, too!
So what does everything do? We’re going to go through everything, from top to bottom. Let’s start!

Calender

This is what’s going on in Neopia this month. It also has the date. All pet days etc are here. If you click the “more” button it takes you to the full calendar. We’ll talk about that soon. On to the next thing!

Downloadables

This has links to all downloads, such as Backgrounds, where most graphics makers get their ideas from, Screensavers, which save your screen with Neopets on them, Buddy Icons, which has icons for AIM and MSN, Fun Images, which is what some people put on petpages, Shop blogs, for your shop, and Music, which is music from games. On to the next thing.

How to draw Neopets

This thing.. it’s not that exciting. It’s just a link to how to draw Neopets, Petpets and that stuff. This is only if you want to draw a Neopet. Next thing!

Neopian Literature

This has links to the Lenny Library(Coming soon!) and the Neopedia. We will talk about the Neopedia in another article. The first one, it has been there for a year but has said coming soon for the whole year. Ah well, the pound took a year.

Daily Puzzle

The Daily Puzzle used to be on the front page but was taken off in March 2008 and was left homeless for a bit over a month. It is now in Pet Central. The deal is pretty simple, you answer a question and you get NP or an item if you get it right. Some Neopets fan sites offer the answers on their sites.

Neopets stats

These are all the stats about Neopets. It has the total owners, total pets and stuff like that. I don’t really use this, and you don’t have too, it’s just there.

Contests and Activities

This is a link to all the things like the competitions, Word of the Day, and the Pound. There is already a guide on Neo Search about the pound. You can read it if you like.

Etc…

This is where TNT put all the things like Send your Neopets image, Neopets Pronunciations, Send a Neo Greeting, Faerie Quest(not the ones you wanted to play, the random ones), Neopets Popularity, All Neopets Spices, Species, all Petpet Species, and Link to Us. Some of these things will be covered on Neo Search later on.
